Great Flour Incidents in "My" family

Having seen the recent "viral video" involving a mother, flour, and her boys, I reflected on the two experiences I have had with FLoUR and toddlers!
This January, my oldest son seen in this video, will be 20 and I wonder if he remembers the fear he felt when reporting this chaotic moment to his parents?
We left him as a 12-year-old to babysit his 9 and 3-year-old brothers while we attended a dinner party TWO DOORS from our house. THIS posted clip (after the jump) is the scene my husband happened upon when checking in! (notice the two HANDS on my son's Cub Scout Shirt!)

Reynolds Aluminum Foil works wonders for home-made Halloween Costumes

What can you make with Reynolds Aluminum Foil, cardboard boxes, brown-paper lunch bags, paper grocery bags, and some colored spray paint?

Well, you can make two young boys very happy on Halloween! Robots, dragons and knights appear in this video--all costumes made out of household items. Amazingly, the durability of these outfits lasted for many years and captured the imaginations of many playmates of my boys.

Two and a half years separates these curious brothers and the interaction between them in this video shockingly defined their relationship, even into their adolescent years.

So if you want to get a glimpse into the future of your toddler, turn on the video camera and let it roll!

Toddler sleep disorder

After enjoying some delightful and creative craft projects listed at Serenity Now from a link party, I needed a little REAL humor! (I so admire the beauty and eagerness of personalities who create and that includes my own artistic MOM who celebrates 72 years on TUESDAY!)

What parent has not plopped a starved, crazed, blubbering toddler at the kitchen table when what the temporary alien-child needed was their crib?  I captured this video of my sleep-challenged daughter and NO! I did not watch her as her head pounded the table. I put the video camera down properly and aided in getting her to bed.

*By the way, the background motivational speaker is a leader from my faith. I suppose he was just not interesting enough for a toddler?

I apologize to M. Russell Ballard for the content of this video!

"And I just laughed and laughed at this delightful video of a toddler just not being able to stay awake to listen to a conference talk. So cute!"
